“Welcome to Egypt”… A word you’ll probably hear at least a dozen times everyday, not only from us or the ones selling plastic pyramids and postcards, but from all the Egyptians who seem to feel responsible for their role as hosts to you. They are always pleased to have you in their country.
The International Clinical Tour (ICT) in Endemic Diseases is the fruit of the collaboration between a team of the most experienced EMSA members with more than 30 years of cumulative experience in arranging similar program.
Through this one of a kind program, you’d be able to explore the science of Endemic diseases from many different perspectives. We take you from private hospitals, rural health centers, specialized hospitals to charity urban hospitals, all of this, in order to get acquainted with the different “sides of the story”.
This program combines theoretical and practical trainings in both academic and clinical fields related to Endemic diseases. It is the perfect choice for undergraduate students who would like to take a comprehensive overview of a science that is becoming of vital importance to our region.
With the hopes that this program will provide you with the suitable dose of science, culture, skills and memories that would last
with you for a lifetime, for it was written in the ancient tales of the 1001 Nights, ‘He who hath not seen Cairo, hath not seen the world’.
