The best way to experience the EMSA life is definitely to become one of its members. EMSA members are young motivated people, that work on a volunteer base to learn, have an impact and experience the experiences of their lifetime.

EMSA members have the right to participate in the different activities and projects prepared by our NGO. They can also have a bigger impact and create the activities and projects of their own, have their own team, and use all the facilities and contacts EMSA has, to come out with their dream project in the most presentable way.

EMSA offers to its members the chance to actively participate and organize different sorts of projects. Through experiential learning, EMSA teaches its members how to manage a team, to prepare a project from head to toe, some extensive crisis management, leadership and managerial skills, democracy and systematized thinking, tolerance and openness to other cultures, finances, public relations, human resources, administration, computer skills and pretty much everything else.

In addition, EMSA offers to its members a series of exclusive services and opportunities throughout the year. International training opportunities, bilateral students exchange programs and participation in international events and youth gatherings are all among the benefits EMSA members get. Although EMSA offers these opportunities only to its members, yet, EMSA membership is open to all at any time of the year following the EMSA membership procedures.

Have no worries, there are absolutely no obligations on anyone to work in a specific task, or even to work at all. Everyone has his own busy schedule and we definitely do not want to take this out of its context of an extra-curricular activity. So, basically, everyone works when he likes to and does what he likes to do. Nobody will give you any responsibilities you don’t want to take, but we expect you to accomplish whichever responsibility you took to perfection. That’s the way it works in EMSA.

Later, members can join already existing EMSA Local Branches (LBs) or even create new ones on their own. Local Branches follow the mother organization but benefit from a whole bunch of extra privileges as well as a certain degree of controllable autonomy. Tolerance and acceptance of others is the a crucial value we’re not willing to compromise.
