EMSA Membership Glossary:
EMSA Member:
Is a social and health activist, advocating for causes related to health and welfare for the Egyptian community. He/she identified and studies into issues that directly and indirectly influence the Egyptian society's health status and takes the initiatives to address those issues through informed and goal-oriented community services, guided by the EMSA values.
EMSA Membership:
Is for any healthcare undergraduate or postgraduate students, aging less than 30 years by the time of application. It entities for the participation and potential leadership in the different EMSA arms, clubs, projects and local branches. Each of these EMSA Entities have their own membership selection system.
EMSA Affiliate:
Is an individual wishing to be involved in the different EMSA activites and/or management through EMSA national membership in spite of falling short of the typical membership conditions (applicable for non-medical sciences students as an example).
EMSA Competences:
EMSA is looking for highly motivated young people to be part of its members' base. Advancement in membership statuses is based upon the development and assessment of 6 basic EMSA competences which are illustrated in the EMSA Competency Model.
